The seating area in the room was a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. I loved the modern design elements in the suites, it really added to the overall ambiance. Having a private bathroom with a bath or shower was a convenient feature. The balcony in most rooms was a lovely addition, allowing for a breath of fresh air. The double room had everything I needed, including air conditioning and a minibar.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the tile/marble flooring in the double room.

Fantastic boutique hotel - room 103 was jaw-droppingly large, with high ceilings and ultimate comfort. The prime location in the middle of the old town made exploring a breeze. Thank goodness for the staff helping us with parking and getting back to the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and having a tea pot in the room was a pleasant surprise. Hiring a local guide was super easy, right at the hotel. Matera is a captivating town. The hospitable and friendly staff exceeded all expectations. The junior suite was luxurious and stylish. Breakfast offered scrumptious croissants. Best of all, it's just a 5-minute walk from the amazing Sassi sights. The hotel is a contemporary haven, surrounded by restaurants and shops, without the late-night noise. The breakfast spread fit for a King left us in awe. The staff's warm and helpful nature made our stay even better. We will definitely recommend this hotel and return in September.

We had a wonderful stay in a spacious and beautifully decorated room located just a stone's throw away from a charming square. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast, which included a variety of delicious pastries, was a perfect start to each day. The location right in the heart of town made it easy to explore the area and take in the local sights.

There was a bit of confusion when it came to checking in as there was no clear signage indicating how to get someone to open the door.

I recently stayed at Albergo Del Sedile and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's central location was perfect, right on the historic Sedile Plaza. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully renovated, with a balcony overlooking the charming square. The staff were exceptional, providing excellent service and being very helpful. The breakfast offered a great variety of pastries and was fit for a King!

We had a lovely Christmas stay at this hotel. The rooms were nicely designed with modern elements and the staff were extremely friendly throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the central location, just a short walk from all of the main tourist sites. The breakfast was also a highlight with a plate of tasty pastries offered alongside the meal.

That our room was facing a busy street, making it quite noisy at night. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to request a room facing away from the street.

I found the accessibility of the hotel to be quite good, considering the historical nature of Matera. Although there were some steps to navigate, I managed to carry my suitcases and even got a little workout in.

It would have been even more enjoyable if the staff had better communication skills. As the children working there didn't speak English, it made it difficult to ask questions and get suggestions.

Steep walkway with many steps to reach the suite, which was not mentioned in the description. Difficult for guests with walking difficulties.

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I could feel the energy of this city. The hotel is ideally located right in the centre of everything - surrounded by shops and restaurants. The cleanliness of this hotel is highly commendable, and the breakfast was really impressive as well. The staff was welcoming and warm throughout my stay.
